Pete's Dragon (2016)

A forest ranger discovers that a mysterious boy living wild in the Pacific Northwest woods may share his home with a real dragon, just as her father's old tales described.

This family fantasy adventure follows Grace, a forest ranger who has always dismissed her father's stories about a dragon dwelling deep in the woods, until she encounters Pete, a young orphan who claims to live there with a giant green creature named Elliott. As she investigates where the boy came from and whether the dragon truly exists, she is helped by young Natalie, whose father runs the local lumber mill. Directed by David Lowery, the film stars Oakes Fegley alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley, Karl Urban and Robert Redford.
