Plate Making Taster Class

A hands-on evening pottery taster class at SkandiHus's Walthamstow studio where participants hand-build their own plates using slab-building techniques.

This evening taster class introduces hand-building with clay through the slab-building technique, guiding beginners to create their own unique plates. The session begins with an introduction to the studio and materials, and participants finish by choosing a favourite piece to be glazed and fired, ready for collection in about eight weeks. A choice of three glazes — Transparent, Gloss White and Celadon — is offered, with all clay, materials and firings included in the price.
