Sew your own Sweatpants!
About
A three-afternoon sewing workshop at The Fashion School where participants design and make their own sweatpants, suitable for beginners and experienced sewists.
Over three afternoon sessions, participants design and sew their own pair of sweatpants, choosing from a selection of fabrics in various colours. They can personalise the design with pockets, an elasticated waistband, drawstrings and eyelets for a professional finish. Experienced tutors guide the group through cutting fabric, using a sewing machine, constructing the trousers and adding finishing touches. All equipment and materials are provided; attendees should bring a refillable water bottle and a light snack.
