Photography Course – Taster Session

A taster session for home-educated children aged 8-16 to meet the tutor, try studio portrait photography and learn about the full 10-week photography course.

Course leader Kate introduces the full 10-week photography programme for home-educated children aged 8-16, explaining how the course works, the equipment needed and the exact course dates. Students take part in a practical studio portrait photography activity, followed by a question-and-answer time for parents and students. The full course runs March to June 2027, mainly at The Compound in St Leonards with sessions also at Hastings Museum and Picnic, ending with an exhibition at the museum.
