Full-on STEM Day: Crafty Chemistry
About
A five-week home education STEM programme of hands-on chemistry sessions for KS2 children, with crafts, experiments and exhibit exploration.
The STEM Discovery Centre runs a five-week Crafty Chemistry programme for KS2 children, offered as full day (10am–2pm) or half day (10am–12pm) sessions on consecutive Wednesdays. Children explore creative chemistry through hands-on experiments and crafts including etching, bath bomb making, resin art and glowing chemical reactions, with most sessions including a take-home item and time to explore the centre's exhibits. A drop-off and pick-up option is available, though parents are welcome to stay and follow the same guidelines as the children.
