Jam Tarts Indie Choir present A Choir of Angels

The Jam Tarts Indie Choir perform their annual festive concert of indie favourites and new arrangements at St George's Church, Brighton.

The Jam Tarts Indie Choir bring their annual Christmas concert to the candle-lit setting of St George's Church, blending festive cheer with their customary indie sensibility. Around 60 voices perform songs by artists including Tom Waits, The Sisters of Mercy, The Pogues, Fleet Foxes, The Darkness, Florence and the Machine and Kate Bush, with new arrangements and accompaniment from the Tart Musos on trumpets, cello, violin and piano. The two-hour concert raises funds for New Note Orchestra, a Brighton music ensemble for people in recovery from addiction, with wine and soft drinks on sale.
