About

A family talk at 2pm during October half term in which Harewood's Garden Team shares the myths, folklore and spooky stories of the estate's ancient trees.

As part of Harewood's Spells and Sparkles half-term programme, the Garden Team leads a 2pm talk on the West side of the Terrace garden exploring the myths, legends and folklore attached to the estate's oldest trees. The session looks at how trees have long been associated with magic and mystery, drawing on stories written in their roots, branches, scars and hollows. Suitable for families of all ages, the talk runs Monday to Friday across the October half term and is included with admission.
