Tim Penn and the Second Line

Tim Penn and The Second Line bring New Orleans R&B to the Speakeasy Party at Ram Jam Records in Kingston.

Tim Penn fronts The Second Line for a night of New Orleans rhythm and blues, drawing on Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, Dr John and Allen Toussaint, with nods to Ray Charles and Tom Waits alongside his own compositions. The band has built a string of sold-out London shows with its piano-led, jazz-tinged blues sound. The gig runs 8:00pm to 9:50pm at the Ram Jam Records speakeasy behind the Grey Horse pub, with doors from 7pm.
