Dinosaurs Are Forever

An outdoor exhibition of five monumental Megalosaurus skeleton sculptures by artist Jay Jay Burridge displayed in Blenheim Palace Gardens.

Dinosaurs Are Forever is an exhibition by artist Jay Jay Burridge, created in partnership with the Museum of Natural History, University of Oxford. Its centrepiece is five monumental, fully articulated Megalosaurus sculptures built from modern materials with hand-carved bones, informed by a new digital reconstruction developed with palaeontologist Dr Matt Dempsey. The exhibition explores the history of Megalosaurus, the first dinosaur scientifically named after fossils found in Oxfordshire in 1824, and imagines dinosaurs through a contemporary lens. It is included with an Annual Pass or Park & Gardens ticket and open daily from 10.00 to 17.30.
