Wheel Throwing Taster Session

A four-hour beginner session introduces centring clay, pulling walls, shaping a pot and removing it from the wheel.

Designed for complete beginners, this four-hour session covers basic wheel throwing. Participants learn to centre clay, raise walls, shape a bowl or cup and remove it from the wheel. Three wheels are shared among no more than six participants. The finished piece is fired and glazed for collection after several weeks. Wear clothes that can get messy.
