Cigarettes for Breakfast, Waves Crashing, Abandoned Buildings

A triple-bill shoegaze and dream-pop night at Hyde Park Book Club headlined by Philadelphia band Cigarettes for Breakfast.

Cigarettes for Breakfast, a Philadelphia band founded by Matt Whiteford, headline with their fuzzed-out take on shoegaze and dream-pop, performing material from their latest album 'Slow Motion'. They are joined by Seattle trio Waves Crashing, whose sound blends grunge, gaze and dream pop, and Bradford quintet Abandoned Buildings, whose Lynch-inspired shoegaze has seen them support Henge, Whitelands and Kelley Stoltz. The show runs in the venue's basement from 7:30pm to 11pm.
