About
A large-scale installation uses the image of a house on fire to connect personal vulnerability with anxieties about climate catastrophe.
Molly Kent’s newly commissioned installation draws on tapestry weaving, rug tufting and ceramics, and on the artist’s recurring dreamscapes. The work explores inner life, vulnerability and climate anxiety through a cartoonish, graphic visual language. The outdoor installation at Hawthornvale Space can be viewed from the street daily, 08:00–20:00. A free, no-booking preview is listed for 6 November: a quiet low-sensory viewing from 16:00–17:00, followed by an indoor opening reception from 17:00–19:30.
