An outdoor self-guided Halloween trail at Falkland Palace gardens where children find ten hidden scarecrows and solve a mystery to win a prize.
Families follow a trail through Falkland Palace's gardens, spotting ten scarecrows hidden among the autumn leaves and ticking them off a trail sheet. Solving what the missing scarecrow was scared of reveals The Secret of the Scarecrow and earns a prize. The trail runs entirely outdoors, open daily 11am–5pm with last admission at 3:30pm, and visitors are encouraged to come in Halloween costume.
