Composers’ Concert

An evening of chamber music featuring recent works by composers including Catharine Deam, Raymond Warren, Jolyon Laycock and Joseph Najnudel, performed by club members.

This Composers’ Concert presents music by living and recent composers, opening with Catharine Deam’s String Quartet completed in 2024, played by the Brandon String Quartet. Raymond Warren’s Sylvia’s Waltz and Sonata for Violin and Piano follow, with the second half devoted to Jolyon Laycock’s Piano Sonata No. 1 in C major and a recent composition performed by Joseph Najnudel. The evening is part of the Bristol Music Club’s autumn programme, with visitors welcome to attend.
