About
A talk at Abertarff House on James Wolfe and Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, two figures on opposing sides of the Jacobite Rising of 1745.
Abertarff House hosts a presentation on two colourful characters from the '45 Jacobite Rising: James Wolfe, a young British officer, and Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, known as the Fox, who played both sides until his past caught up with him. Fraser has historical connections to Abertarff House itself. The talk lasts about 50 minutes, followed by time for questions.
