About
Annie Whiles presents a large painted woodcarving in the gallery foyer as part of a touring collaboration exploring watchfulness, touch and shared public space.
The carvings draw on British seaside imagery, medieval painted sculpture and memories of charity collection boxes. They move between Matt’s Gallery, KARST and Flatland; this record covers only the London foyer presentation.
