Override – Third Year Dance Performance

Italia Conti's third-year dance students perform Override, a dance production about humanity's fight for freedom in a technology-dominated world.

Italia Conti presents Override, a dance production performed by the college's third-year Dance students on the BA (Hons) Dance and Level 6 Diploma Professional Dance course. Directed by Lucy Dungate, the piece imagines a world where a device transforms reality and humanity becomes trapped under an all-powerful system that erases individuality, emotion and choice. Three individuals uncover the truth that the machine no longer needs humanity, and as their world collapses one makes the ultimate sacrifice to restore freedom. The production runs over two days at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking.
