Midwinter Magick at Suffolk Archives

An evening of folklore storytelling, music and ritual at The Hold, featuring the POD OFF podcast competition and The Feathered Thorns' show WITCH.

The East Anglian Folklore Centre presents an evening reflecting on the magic and mystery of the local area. Act One is a second round of POD OFF, a live recorded podcast competition in which folklore and spooky podcasters — Dr Kate Cherrell (Burials & Beyond), Norfolk Folklore Society and Eerie Essex — compete with seasonal and local stories, with a seasonal craft available in the interval. Act Two features guests The Feathered Thorns performing WITCH, a show using live music, spoken word and projected image to explore the witch as an outsider figure.
