About

A steam train ride to the South Pole, a visit with Santa and festive activities.

Take a 30-minute steam train ride to the South Pole, then return to Cranmore for a visit with Santa and a gift. Daytime tickets include children’s goody bags, a balloon modeller on the train and festive refreshments at the station. Hourly departures run from 10:30am to 4:30pm on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24 December. The 4:30pm departure on all those dates except Christmas Eve is the Santa by Starlight option, with festive colouring and a family quiz, mulled wine and hotdogs before the grotto visit. Starlight has separate ticket prices.
