About
Illustrated talk by Judith Merrill about Norwich architect Augustus Frederic Scott.
Judith Merrill discusses her great-grandfather Augustus Frederic Scott (1854–1936), a Norwich architect described in the programme as a freethinking individualist. The talk covers his combination of pioneering and traditional building techniques, examples in Brundall, and the influence of his travels on his designs.
