About

Free-entry octet The Lovers of Invention, led by Jonah Hitchens, perform the music of Frank Zappa at The Bell Inn in Bath.

The Lovers of Invention is an octet led by Jonah Hitchens devoted to the music of Frank Zappa, a rare tribute act for The Bell Inn, which does not usually host such bands. The group has previously performed at Ronnie Scott's, The Jazz Café and Germany's Zappanale festival. The set runs from 9pm to 11pm on Wednesday 28 October 2026 and entry is free.
