Winter Social Event

An informal winter social in Alberbury with tea, snacks, cake and conversation, including brief presentations on local history and archaeology.

The Society’s winter social is an informal seasonal get-together for tea, snacks, cake and a chat. The programme includes brief presentations by Judith Everard on “Medieval Alberbury: The French Connection” and Nigel Baker on “Alberbury Church, excavation and investigation in 2020.” The Society has asked for Alberbury Church to be opened from 13:00 for members who wish to visit beforehand; check arrangements with the Society. The social at Alberbury Village Hall begins at 14:30.
