About

A guided 2.5-hour walking tour exploring Chelsea's architecture from Sloane Square to Chelsea Creek, led by Sarah Jackson.

Open City's walking tour explores the architecture and history of Chelsea, loosely following the King's Road between the River Westbourne and Counters Creek. Led by architect and Golden Key Academy graduate Sarah Jackson, the route takes in Peter Jones and Sloane Square, Royal Avenue, the King's Road squares, social housing at Chelsea Common, Riverside Old Chelsea and the Worlds End Estate, ending at the former Lots Road Power Station. The tour covers around 4km of flat pavement walking and lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
