A one-day plastic surgery research and innovation conference with keynotes, workshops, research presentations and a hackathon.
PLASTA Research & Innovation Day 2026 brings together students, trainees, clinicians and researchers for a day focused on research, academic careers and innovation in plastic surgery. The programme runs 09:00–17:00 and includes keynote talks, an academic careers workshop, an innovation round table, research presentations and lightning talks, and an Innovation Hackathon titled 'Scalpel to Sustainability – The Net-Zero Operation', ending with pitches, judging and prizes. Abstracts could be submitted ahead of the event, with selected work presented orally or as posters.
