Pottery Night
About
A weekly handbuilding pottery session at Everyday in Wigan where participants learn to prepare, sculpt, glaze and fire clay pieces.
Pottery Night is a weekly session at Everyday in Wigan focused on handbuilding with clay rather than wheel-thrown pottery. Facilitator and artist Anna FC Smith guides attendees through the full process, from preparing raw clay and sculpting to glazing and a shared kiln firing, with all tools and glazes included in the ticket price. The session suits beginners and experienced potters alike, though completing a piece may take at least two visits to allow for drying time. It is an 18+ event, with ages 12+ welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
