Weekend Watercolour Classes In Edinburgh

A six-week beginner-friendly watercolour course with Ash lab art Studio, covering colour, observation, texture, light and atmosphere through a different subject each week.

Ash lab art Studio runs a six-session watercolour course at Silvan House Studios, with a Friday evening group (5.30–7pm, 23 October to 4 December) and a Saturday morning group (10.30am–12.30pm, 24 October to 5 December); there are no classes on 6 and 7 November. Each week tackles a different subject — water and colour, flowers, food, light and glass, sky, and architecture — building skills in washes, layering, linework, transparency, wet-on-wet technique and perspective. No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided.
