A Brentford walk recalls three conflicts associated with the town, from Roman times to the Civil Wars.
The route discusses a Roman crossing of the Thames, the Saxon defeat of Cnut in 1016 and the Royalist capture and sacking of Brentford in 1642. It meets at the Market Place.
