About
The Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Alpesh Chauhan, performs Beethoven, Dvořák, and Tchaikovsky with cellist Johannes Moser.
The Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, one of Germany's most distinguished orchestras, is led by British conductor Alpesh Chauhan and features German-Canadian virtuoso Johannes Moser. The concert begins with Beethoven's Coriolan Overture, a gripping musical portrait of the ill-fated Roman general. This is followed by Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, which is then completed by Tchaikovsky’s fiery Fourth Symphony, ending with a whirling folk dance finale.
