RBO Live: Così Fan Tutte

A live Royal Opera House screening of Mozart's Così fan tutte, reimagined by director Netia Jones, at the Amey Theatre.

This is a live broadcast of The Royal Opera's production of Mozart's Così fan tutte, screened at the Amey Theatre. Spurred on by a bet, two young men test the fidelity of their girlfriends, leading to a game of seduction and shifting realities. Director Netia Jones, in her Main Stage debut, reimagines the 1790 comedy through a contemporary lens, blending 18th-century romantic trickery with satirical high-tech deceit. The young cast is led by Louise Alder, Simone McIntosh, Mingjie Lei and Huw Montague Rendall, with Gerald Finley as Don Alfonso and Emily Pogorelc as Despina, and Thomas Hengelbrock conducts.
