Cowal Heritage Society Talk: Charles Dixon-Spain and Lindsay Docherty

The Cowal Heritage Society hosts talks by Charles Dixon-Spain on preservation at Dunans Castle and Lindsay Docherty on the Sawney Bean legend.

Charles Dixon-Spain talks about Adventures in Preservation at his Dunans Castle home near Glendaruel, followed by a shorter talk from Lindsay Docherty about the grisly legend of Sawney Bean. The talk is part of the Cowal Heritage Society's 2026-2027 season, which charges £25 season membership for entry to eight scheduled talks or £5 admission per talk for non-members. Members also gain access to an online archive of videos of the season's talks.
