God Save the Queens
About
An exhibition at the Museum of Youth Culture celebrating the women who shaped punk, curated by the Up Yours! Collective.
A landmark exhibition curated by the Up Yours! Collective celebrating the women who shaped punk's music, art and identity, dedicated to the legacy of Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex. It brings together rare and previously unseen artwork, photography, fashion and personal archival material from collections including the Poly Styrene Archive, the Zandra Rhodes Foundation and The Rock & Roll Public Library. The show charts punk's origins, evolution and lasting cultural influence while placing women at the centre of the story, and forms part of the wider UP YOURS! GOD SAVE THE QUEENS festival running across London from July to November 2026.
