Lord Hermer, who served as Attorney General from 2024 to 2026 under Sir Keir Starmer, will speak. He previously spent three decades as a leading human rights and international law barrister at Matrix Chambers, where he argued landmark cases. The event will take place in the Debate Chamber or Goodman Library at The Oxford Union.
