Pen to Print: From Writer to Published Author with Silvano Griffith-Francis

A two-hour self-publishing workshop with Silvano Griffith-Francis guiding new authors through publishing stages, budgeting, platforms and marketing.

This in-person workshop at Dagenham Library and Family Hub takes writers step by step through the self-publishing process, whatever stage their book has reached. It covers the key stages of publishing, budgeting, Amazon KDP (with other platforms briefly mentioned), editing, formatting, cover design, ISBN requirements and marketing. The session ends with a 30-minute surgery offering personalised help and advice, and attendees leave with a structured action plan for publishing their book. The same core session is repeated on four dates so participants can return for a refresher.
