Hadestown: The Musical

A filmed West End performance of Anaïs Mitchell’s folk and jazz musical follows the intertwined stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone.

Recorded at London’s Lyric Theatre, this cinema presentation features Reeve Carney, André De Shields, Amber Gray, Eva Noblezada and Patrick Page, the five original Broadway principals. Cineworld credits director Brett Sullivan. The filmed production reimagines the Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone stories through folk and New Orleans-inspired jazz.
