Hopeweavers Quiet Day

A day of stillness, silence and creativity at St Luke's Church, led by the Community of Hopeweavers, with prayer, art materials and shared lunch.

The Community of Hopeweavers hosts a quiet day at St Luke's Church, Portsmouth, beginning with refreshments and Morning Prayer at 9.45am, followed by an extended period of silence with creative art materials, journaling and quiet spaces available. Midday Prayer and a shared lunch (silent tables offered) break the day, with more stillness in the afternoon before closing prayer, tea and cake. Participants bring their own packed lunch; fruit, soups, cake and drinks are provided. The day runs about six and a quarter hours.
