Intro to Burlesque by Stiff Peaks Burlesque

A six-week beginner burlesque course by Stiff Peaks Burlesque, teaching classic moves and building towards a group routine and showcase.

Stiff Peaks Burlesque runs a six-week introduction to burlesque aimed at complete beginners, covering a range of iconic burlesque moves plus some of the troupe's own signature techniques. Each weekly one-hour session focuses on a different technique and contributes to a group routine, with props such as gloves provided. Participants aged 18 and over are invited to perform the taught routine, or their own choreography, at a free end-of-course showcase at Factory Floor on October 29th. The instructors are alumni of Sheffield's Steel City Sirens.
