About
The East Lancashire Railway's Santa Specials steam train experience with a winter-wonderland station, Christmas characters, carols and a visit from Santa.
Marking almost 40 years of the Santa Specials, this festive heritage steam train experience begins with a walk through Bury Station, transformed into a winter wonderland, where families meet Christmas characters before boarding. On the journey there are carols and a traditional brass band, plus a mince pie, a festive tipple and a special visit from Santa himself. Sessions run on selected dates from late November through Christmas Eve, 9.30am to 4.10pm.
