Pottery Wheel Taster Class
About
A two-hour hands-on pottery wheel taster class for adults at re-imagine in Southbourne, where beginners make their own pot on the wheel.
Leaps and Bounds Pottery Classes runs this two-hour evening taster session for adults aged 16 and over at re-imagine in Southbourne. After a short demonstration, Sarah guides participants through the basics of using a potter's wheel, and each attendee gets two attempts to throw their own pot. Pots are taken away to be kiln-fired and are ready for collection around six to eight weeks later, with an optional glaze add-on to make them watertight and food safe. The class is limited to six places and requires a minimum of three people to run.
