Queen of English Folk: Eliza Carthy

Eliza Carthy presents Frenemies, a folk and punk-influenced album reflecting on family, relationships and the modern world.

Carthy’s current programme centres on Frenemies, created with her long-standing band The Restitution and co-written and co-produced with Ben Seal. Its songs explore motherhood, betrayal, forgiveness and solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, mixing humour with traditional folk and punk influences. Album collaborators are credited here without assuming that they attend this concert.
