About

A family autumn half-term event at Marwell Zoo with pumpkin carving, an autumn maze, games, witch storytelling, face painting and VR experiences.

Marwell Zoo's October half term offers a wild autumn adventure for families from 24 October to 1 November 2026. Activities include pumpkin carving and painting on Marwell Hall drive, an autumn maze with a hidden golden acorn prize, pumpkin patch games, face painting and glitter tattoos at the Giraffe House, and storytelling sessions with Esme the friendly zoo witch inside Grade I listed Marwell Hall. Visitors can also try a virtual reality insect experience, spot team-made scarecrows, enjoy seasonal photo opportunities and treats, and catch daily animal feeds and keeper talks.
