Girls' Night In: A Two-Day Watercolour Workshop with Sarah Stokes

A two-day watercolour workshop with Sarah Stokes painting a trio of hens using a limited palette, open to all abilities.

Over two days, participants paint three characterful hens in watercolour using just three colours plus black, with all materials provided. Day one covers tracing, limited-palette colour mixing and loose wet-into-wet washes to build an underpainting. Day two adds layers, texture and fine detail, finishing with mark-making and decorative touches. The relaxed workshop suits beginners and intermediates and runs 9.30am to 5pm each day in the first-floor Swallow Barn, accessed by stairs.
