The Magic Stick
About
Ri Ri's Dance Academy presents a family show blending Indian dance, storytelling and stage magic about a girl whose magic stick lets her see kindness come alive.
Eight-year-old Diya receives a mysterious Magic Stick that lets her see kindness come alive. Guided by her Talking Karam (good deeds) Tree, she journeys through the Utsav (Kindness) Festival, meeting colourful characters and learning how every choice creates a ripple of light. The 40-45 minute show blends Indian dance, music, storytelling and stage magic, followed by a question-and-answer session, and is recommended for ages 6-12. Gentle audience interaction is optional, and the production includes flashing and changing stage lights.
