About

An after-hours climate and nature programme combining conversations, film, workshops, guided gallery tours and creative activities.

This free booked evening brings climate and nature discussions together with a screening of People’s Emergency Briefing, a later climate-resilience conversation, practical workshops, guided tours of the Fixing Our Broken Planet Gallery, hands-on reuse art, science and community pop-ups, a reflection mural, a youth-led short film featuring Nova and its Youth Voice Group, and a quiet sensory space. The scheduled studio segments are 18:45–20:00 and 20:30–21:15; the disagreement workshop has starts at 19:00 and 20:15; the gallery tour has starts at 19:00, 20:00 (audio-described) and 20:45. Other drop-ins run during the wider 18:30–21:30 event window. The published programme names speakers Dr Clare Heaviside, Adrian Wong and Dr Daniella Watson, and artist Katka Krajči. Activities take place across the Attenborough Studio, Zoology Spirit Building, Darwin Centre Atrium, Shake Bar and named galleries. Recommended for ages 16+; under-16s must attend with a parent or guardian. Some limited-capacity activities are first-come, first-served. Enter via Upper West Gate on Queen’s Gate; daytime visitors must leave at 17:50 and re-enter. The museum states wheelchair access, seating, a hearing loop in the studio, a dedicated quiet area, guide-dog access and accessible toilet provision.
