Voices of the Peaks – Satellite Singing Project

An intergenerational choral performance of Voices of the Peaks, a new suite celebrating 75 years of the Peak District National Park.

Voices of the Peaks is a new six-movement choral suite by Hannah Brine and Jenni Watson marking 75 years of the Peak District National Park, exploring the landscape and the lives intertwined with it. This intergenerational performance brings together the Bollington, Didsbury and High Peak Singers with young singers from Harpur Hill and Burbage Primary Schools, who have rehearsed with Elle Hibbert and Tom Newall over seven weeks. Ed Simpson accompanies on piano. The performance forms part of the Buxton Opera House Creates Satellite Project, funded by Arts Council England.
