Poetry – Laureate’s Lounge Open Mic

A free monthly open mic evening of spoken word and poetry hosted by the Surrey Poet Laureate initiative at Thames Side Brewery.

The Laureates Lounge is Surrey's poetry open mic night, hosted by the Surrey Poet Laureate initiative and held at Thames Side Brewery in Staines Upon Thames on the second Tuesday of each month. Poets from across the county perform, and both seasoned performers and first-timers are welcome to share verses, stories and musings in a supportive atmosphere. Doors open at 6pm with the event starting at 6:45pm and running until 10pm; audience entrance is free while presenters book tickets separately.
