About

Children join Father Christmas and forest elf Holly Berry for a festive story, gift and keepsake photo at Gibside Stables.

Holly Berry welcomes families at Gibside Stables and guides children to Father Christmas for an interactive festive story. Each child receives a small gift to take home, and grown-ups can take their own photo; professional photography is not provided. Each appointment is listed as a 35-minute slot. The 10:35 slot is the low-sensory relaxed session for families with SEND and younger children. Recommended for children from age 3 through primary school, and best suited up to age 9. Booking is essential. Ticket prices are £0 for adults and £18 for children; non-members also pay admission on the day. Bookings allow up to two adults with at least one paying child. Children under 18 months are free unless they would like a gift. Meet in the Stables courtyard 10 minutes before the session; allow time for the walk from Gibside reception.
