The Endless Column. Daniel Ciobanu - A Sonic Vision of Brâncuși
About
Pianist Daniel Ciobanu performs an immersive multimedia recital honouring Constantin Brâncuși on the 150th anniversary of his birth.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Daniel Ciobanu returns to London with an immersive multimedia recital honouring sculptor Constantin Brâncuși on the 150th anniversary of his birth. Part of the RCI's Enescu Concert Series and the fifth event in its Brâncuși 150 Season, the programme is framed as a dialogue between sound, image and idea rather than a chronological retelling of the sculptor's life. Through his own narration and original visual elements, Ciobanu leads the audience on a path echoing Brâncuși's artistic philosophy, from raw matter to form.
