An annual graduate exhibition at Open Eye Gallery showcasing photography projects by four early-career MA students, including work made in partnership with Homotopia.

Next Up-2026 is the annual graduate exhibition for the MA in Socially Engaged Photography, a programme Open Eye Gallery has run with the University of Salford since 2018. It features work by Yaqeen Amir, Ella Horniman, Jack Smith, and Helen Constantinou (Contemporary Fine Art MA, in partnership with Homotopia). The projects include Helen Constantinou's composite photographs of the 1988 anti-Section 28 protest march, Yaqeen Amir's exploration of displacement and identity through self-portraiture, Ella Horniman's collaborative zine project from community workshops in Harpurhey, and Jack Smith's series on fly tipping in the North West.
