About
Handle animal-bone objects and discover what they reveal about food, leisure and life along Hadrian’s Wall.
This family-friendly hands-on activity uses the Vindolanda Trust’s animal-bone collection to explore communities along Hadrian’s Wall, including what people ate and how soldiers spent their leisure time. Visit from 24 October to 1 November, 11:00–15:00. The activity is free to Roman Army Museum ticket holders.
