SoAH Presents: Material Engagements Research Cluster (MERC)

The co-leads of RCA's Material Engagements Research Cluster present their current material and process-focused research in a free public lecture.

Dr Katharina Vones and Professor Freddie Robins, the new co-leads of the Material Engagements Research Cluster, present their current research at this free public lecture. Robins discusses her engagement with soft materials through knitting and knitted objects, while Vones examines sustainable materialities and more-than-human temporalities explored through digitally informed craft methodologies. The talk also introduces the cluster's wider work investigating the cultural, social and political narratives of materials and materiality.
